Job Description
You’ll support pupils who need help accessing learning calmly and confidently. You’ll reinforce routines, provide 1:1 and small-group assistance, and help adapt activities under teacher guidance. Working alongside the SEND team, you’ll support targeted plans that strengthen emotional regulation, communication, and engagement. This role suits someone steady, observant, and committed to inclusive practice.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Support pupils 1:1 and in groups to access learning.
Reinforce routines and model positive classroom behaviours.
Assist with simple interventions and communication strategies.
Liaise with teachers and SEND staff to track progress.
Desired Experience + Qualifications
Experience supporting pupils with additional needs in primary settings.
Calm, patient communication skills.
Confidence using visual supports and predictable routines.
Strong safeguarding awareness and collaborative approach.
