Job Description
Secondary schools across Coventry are seeking confident and adaptable Cover Supervisors to deliver pre-planned lessons and maintain positive learning environments. This role is ideal for someone with classroom experience who can engage pupils, manage behaviour effectively, and quickly adapt to different school settings.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects
Maintain strong classroom management and behaviour expectations
Support pupils in remaining focused and engaged
Adapt confidently to different classrooms and departments
Provide feedback to teaching staff where required
Desired Experience + Qualifications
Level 5 qualification
Experience delivering lessons or leading groups
Previous school-based experience
Strong communication and behaviour management skills
DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
Degree or Master’s qualification (Desirable)
Experience within secondary schools (Desirable)
Flexible and proactive approach (Desirable)
