Job Description

A school in Worcestershire is seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with a range of additional needs including Autism, SEMH, and learning difficulties. This role is ideal for someone who is patient, resilient, and passionate about helping pupils overcome barriers to learning.

Key Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND
Assist with differentiated learning activities
Support pupils’ emotional regulation and behaviour
Work closely with teachers and the SENDCo
Promote independence and engagement in learning

Desired Experience + Qualifications

  • Experience supporting individuals with SEND (education or care setting desirable)

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Patient, adaptable, and supportive approach

  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils

  • DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
