Job Description

A Birmingham infant school is seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs across EYFS and KS1. You will provide targeted one-to-one and small group interventions, helping students develop communication, confidence, and early academic skills. This is a fulfilling role for someone passionate about creating inclusive learning experiences in early years settings.

Deliver individual and group support for SEND pupils
Support classroom routines and behaviour plans
Monitor progress and adapt support strategies
Collaborate with SENCO and classroom staff

Desired Experience + Qualifications

  • Previous experience supporting SEND in EYFS/KS1

  • Knowledge of autism, speech & language, or sensory needs

  • Calm and consistent approach

  • Strong communication and teamwork
