Job Description
A secondary school in Coventry is seeking a passionate Art Teacher to join their team. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons across the curriculum, support students’ creative development, and build positive relationships that encourage participation and confidence in art.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging Art lessons across KS3 and KS4
Plan lessons aligned with the national curriculum
Encourage creativity, experimentation, and artistic development
Maintain strong behaviour management and positive classroom culture
Support pupils to develop artistic skills and confidence
Desired Experience + Qualifications
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Art
Strong ability to build positive relationships with young people
Experience planning lessons within the curriculum
Strong behaviour management and classroom presence
DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
