Job Description
A Primary school in Worcestershire is seeking a KS1 Teaching Assistant to support young pupils with routines, focus, and early literacy. You’ll guide small groups, model instructions, and reassure pupils during busy transitions. Some children need confidence to attempt new tasks; others need structured support to stay engaged. Working closely with the class teacher, you’ll help create a warm, organised environment where pupils feel settled and ready to learn.
Support KS1 pupils in lessons and small groups.
Assist with phonics, early reading, and numeracy.
Guide routines, transitions, and focus.
Work collaboratively with the class teacher.

Experience supporting KS1 learners.
Warm, patient communication.
Confidence modelling early learning tasks.
