Job Description
A well-regarded secondary school in Banbury is looking for a dedicated Religious Education Teacher to join their team after Easter. The ideal candidate will have strong subject knowledge and the ability to encourage critical thinking and respectful dialogue across KS3 and KS4. QTS is preferred but not essential for experienced educators.
Teach engaging and inclusive RE lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
Foster a classroom environment built on curiosity, reflection, and open discussion
Support student progress through thoughtful planning and assessment
Work collaboratively with the humanities department
Desired Experience + Qualifications
Experience teaching RE or Humanities at secondary level
Subject specialism in Religious Education preferred
QTS desirable but not essential
Ability to build strong rapport with students
