Job Description
A primary school in Warwickshire is seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils within a KS2 classroom. This role is ideal for someone with experience supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and confidence working within a structured classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND
Support pupils with ASD in accessing classroom learning
Assist with classroom routines, engagement, and behaviour
Work collaboratively with teachers and SEND staff
Promote independence and confidence in learning
Desired Experience + Qualifications
Experience supporting pupils with ASD
Previous experience within a KS2 classroom
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Patient, proactive, and nurturing approach
DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
