Job Description
A specialist school in Worcestershire is seeking a passionate SEND Teacher to support pupils with a range of additional needs including Autism, SEMH, and learning difficulties. This role is ideal for a teacher who can deliver personalised learning, build strong relationships with pupils, and create a structured classroom environment where every learner can succeed.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver differentiated lessons tailored to SEND learners
Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
Monitor progress against EHCP targets
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and pastoral staff
Maintain strong behaviour management and inclusive classroom practices
Desired Experience + Qualifications
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience working with pupils with SEND (desirable)
Strong behaviour management and adaptability
Patient, resilient, and nurturing approach
DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
