Job Description
A welcoming primary school in Warwickshire is seeking an enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teacher to join their team on a part-time basis, working 2–3 days per week. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator who can deliver engaging lessons, maintain high expectations, and create an inclusive classroom where every child is encouraged to achieve their full potential.
Working alongside a supportive team of colleagues, you'll play an important role in delivering high-quality teaching and ensuring continuity of learning for Key Stage 2 pupils.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 2
Plan, prepare, and assess learning in line with the National Curriculum
Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners
Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress
Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff
Contribute positively to the wider life of the school
Desired Experience + Qualifications
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Previous experience teaching within Key Stage 2
Strong understanding of the Primary National Curriculum
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
Strong communication and organisational abilities
Commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning
DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
Experience teaching Upper Key Stage 2
Creative and engaging teaching style
Strong assessment and planning skills
Adaptable, resilient, and proactive approach
Passion for helping every child achieve their full potential
