Job Description
A school in Coventry is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to support pupils who require additional behavioural and emotional guidance. This role involves working closely with teaching staff and pastoral teams to help students develop positive behaviours and remain engaged in learning.
Key Responsibilities
Provide behavioural and emotional support to pupils
Deliver 1:1 and small group mentoring sessions
Implement behaviour management strategies
Support pupils during lessons and transitions
Work collaboratively with teachers and pastoral staff
Desired Experience + Qualifications
Experience supporting behaviour in a school or youth setting
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Calm, patient, and resilient approach
Ability to support pupils with SEMH needs
DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
