Job Description
You’ll support the SENCo in leading provision for pupils with SEND across the school, contributing to assessments, coordinating interventions, and guiding support staff. You’ll help shape EHCP targets, track pupil progress, and strengthen relationships with families and external professionals. This role suits someone organised, confident, and committed to building clear, consistent systems for inclusive teaching.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with SEND assessments, referrals, and EHCP processes.
Oversee interventions and monitor pupil progress.
Support training and development for support staff.
Maintain communication with families and external agencies.
Desired Experience + Qualifications
Experience supporting pupils with SEND in primary settings.
Strong understanding of EHCP processes and targeted interventions.
Confident leading others and managing casework.
Excellent organisation, communication, and safeguarding awareness.
