Job Description
A primary school in Dunchurch is urgently seeking a part-time SEND Teaching Assistant to provide direct 1:1 classroom support to a pupil with additional needs who requires daily insulin injections. The ideal candidate will be calm, reliable, and either experienced or trained in administering insulin safely.
Provide tailored classroom support to a pupil with SEND
Monitor and administer insulin in accordance with medical plans
Collaborate with school staff and medical professionals
Ensure the child feels safe, included, and supported
Desired Experience + Qualifications
TA or SEND TA experience (essential)
Trained in or willing to be trained to administer insulin
Strong communication with empathy and professionalism
Experience with medical needs or EHCPs preferred
