Job Description

Milestone Education is seeking passionate and dedicated Key Stage 2 Teachers to work within welcoming primary schools across Birmingham. Working alongside experienced colleagues, you'll create engaging learning experiences, promote high expectations, and support every child to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including pupils with SEND, EAL, and higher-attaining pupils
Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
Set high expectations for behaviour, attendance, and academic achievement
Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, using assessment to inform future planning
Deliver effective feedback to support continuous pupil development
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff
Contribute to the wider life of the school and uphold safeguarding responsibilities

Desired Experience + Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • PGCE, Bachelor of Education, or equivalent teaching qualification

  • Previous experience teaching within Key Stage 2

  • Strong understanding of the Primary National Curriculum

  • Experience planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons

  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

  • Commitment to delivering outstanding teaching and learning

  • DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
