Job Description

A specialist secondary provision in Warwickshire (CV22 area) is seeking an experienced 1:1 Support Assistant to work closely with a pupil requiring emotional and behavioural support. This role is ideal for someone with SEMH experience who understands the importance of structure, routine, and positive relationship-building.

Key Responsibilities
Provide consistent 1:1 support throughout the school day
Implement behaviour and emotional regulation strategies
Support learning within the classroom and during transitions
Work collaboratively with teaching staff and pastoral teams

Desired Experience + Qualifications

  • Experience working in a SEMH or SEND school

  • Strong understanding of Autism and behavioural support strategies

  • Able to work 08:30 – 15:45 consistently

  • Full UK driving licence preferred

  • DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
