Job Description

A Primary school in Birmingham South is looking for a Family Support Worker to strengthen communication between home and school. You’ll support families facing barriers, run supportive check-ins, and help pupils settle into routines. Some families need guidance; others need reassurance and clear information. Working with pastoral staff, you’ll help ensure every child has the emotional and practical support they need to succeed.

Build positive relationships with families.
Support attendance, wellbeing, and routines.
Provide regular family check-ins.
Work with pastoral and safeguarding teams.
