Job Description

A secondary school in Warwickshire is seeking an enthusiastic and engaging Spanish Teacher to join their Modern Foreign Languages department. This role is ideal for a passionate educator who can inspire a love of languages while helping pupils develop confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing Spanish.

You'll have the opportunity to create engaging lessons that bring language learning to life and encourage students to become confident communicators.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging Spanish lessons across KS3 and KS4
Plan and assess learning in line with curriculum expectations
Promote confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills
Differentiate lessons to meet a range of learning needs
Monitor pupil progress and support achievement
Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
Contribute to the wider MFL department and school community

Desired Experience + Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Experience teaching Spanish within a secondary setting

  • Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills

  • Ability to motivate and engage learners

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

  • Passion for language learning and cultural awareness

  • DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
