Job Description

A friendly and ambitious primary school in Stockton, Warwickshire is seeking an enthusiastic Upper Key Stage 2 Teacher to join their team on a part-time basis, working three days per week. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who can deliver engaging lessons, inspire a love of learning, and support pupils in achieving their full potential.

Working alongside a supportive staff team, you'll help create an inclusive classroom where children are encouraged to challenge themselves, develop academically, and grow in confidence.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging lessons across Upper Key Stage 2
Plan, prepare, and assess learning in line with the National Curriculum
Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners
Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress
Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff
Contribute to the wider life of the school

Desired Experience + Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Previous experience teaching within Key Stage 2

  • Strong understanding of the Primary National Curriculum

  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

  • Strong communication and organisational abilities

  • Commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning

  • DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one

  • Experience teaching Upper Key Stage 2

  • Creative and engaging teaching style

  • Strong assessment and planning skills

  • Adaptable, resilient, and proactive approach

  • Passion for helping every child achieve their full potential
