Job Description

A primary school in Warwickshire is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Year 5 & Year 6 Teacher to join their team on a part-time basis, working three days per week. This role is ideal for a committed Key Stage 2 practitioner who can inspire learners, maintain high expectations, and support pupils as they prepare for the transition to secondary education.

You'll play an important role in delivering engaging lessons, promoting pupil achievement, and helping learners develop the confidence and resilience needed for future success.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality teaching across Year 5 and Year 6
Plan, prepare, and assess learning in line with curriculum expectations
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
Monitor progress and provide effective feedback to pupils
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff

Desired Experience + Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 2

  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities

  • Ability to motivate and engage learners of all abilities

  • Commitment to high standards of teaching and learning

  • DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
