Job Description
A secondary school in Coventry is seeking a confident and academically strong Intervention Teaching Assistant to deliver targeted Maths and English support across KS3 and KS4. This role is ideal for someone with solid GCSE-level knowledge (or higher) in both subjects and strong classroom experience.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver structured Maths and English interventions to small groups
Reinforce GCSE content and core skills
Support classroom learning when required
Track progress and feedback to teaching staff
Encourage confidence and academic resilience
Desired Experience + Qualifications
Strong GCSE (or equivalent) knowledge in Maths and English
Classroom experience at secondary level
Confident supporting KS3 and KS4 learners
Clear communication and positive behaviour support
DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
