Job Description
A primary school in Warwickshire (Stratford-upon-Avon area) is seeking a committed KS1 Teaching Assistant to support pupils within Key Stage 1. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping young learners develop confidence, independence, and enthusiasm for learning.
Key Responsibilities
Support pupils across Key Stage 1 classrooms
Deliver small group interventions and targeted support
Assist teachers in creating engaging learning environments
Support pupil engagement and classroom routines
Help children build confidence and develop key learning skills
Work collaboratively with teaching staff to support pupil progress
Desired Experience + Qualifications
Previous school-based experience
Experience supporting pupils within KS1
Experience delivering small group work and interventions
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Positive, patient, and proactive approach
DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
