Job Description
A SEND school in Birmingham is seeking an Autism Support Assistant to support pupils who need structure, visual communication, and sensory-aware routines. You’ll provide 1:1 guidance, model tasks clearly, and help pupils regulate during transitions. Some children need step-by-step scaffolding; others need calm reassurance and predictable spaces. Working with teachers and therapists, you’ll help pupils access learning confidently and build independence over time.
