Job Description
A secondary school in Warwickshire is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Business Studies Teacher to join their team from September. This role is ideal for a teacher who can bring business concepts to life, inspire ambition, and help students develop the skills needed for further education and future careers.
You'll have the opportunity to engage learners through dynamic lessons while supporting strong academic outcomes across the Business Studies curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging Business Studies lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5
Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with curriculum requirements
Complete marking and assessment to support pupil progress
Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all learners
Monitor attainment and provide effective feedback
Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
Contribute positively to the wider department and school community
Desired Experience + Qualifications
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Previous experience teaching Business Studies within a secondary setting
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Ability to plan, prepare, and mark pupils' work effectively
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Passion for education and student achievement
DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
