Job Description
A secondary school in Warwickshire is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Geography Teacher to join their team from September. This role is ideal for an educator who can deliver engaging lessons, inspire a love of learning, and help students develop a deeper understanding of the physical and human world.
You'll play a key role in supporting pupil achievement while bringing geographical concepts to life through creative and engaging teaching.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with curriculum expectations
Complete marking and assessment to support pupil progress
Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all learners
Monitor attainment and provide effective feedback
Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
Contribute positively to the wider Humanities department and school community
Desired Experience + Qualifications
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Previous experience teaching Geography within a secondary setting
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Ability to plan, prepare, and mark pupils' work effectively
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Passion for Geography and student achievement
DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
