Job Description
You’ll support pupils with a range of SEND needs, offering structured guidance in lessons, transitions, and personalised interventions. You’ll adapt tasks, use visuals and clear routines, and help pupils build confidence and independence. Working alongside teachers and therapists, you’ll contribute to progress reviews and help maintain a safe, predictable learning environment where pupils feel secure, understood, and ready to learn.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide targeted 1:1 and small-group SEND support.
Implement communication aids, visuals, and structured routines.
Adapt learning tasks under teacher direction.
Record progress and liaise with teaching and therapy staff.
Desired Experience + Qualifications
Experience supporting pupils with SEND, ASD, or speech + language needs.
Confident using visual timetables and routine-based strategies.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Commitment to safeguarding and continuing professional development.
