Job Description
You'll support the SENCo in delivering high-quality SEND provision across the school, ensuring pupils with additional needs receive the support they need to achieve their potential. Working closely with teachers, teaching assistants, families, and external agencies, you'll help coordinate interventions, monitor pupil progress, contribute to EHCP reviews, and promote inclusive practice throughout the school. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their leadership experience within SEND.
Job Requirements
Experience supporting pupils with SEND within a primary or secondary school.
Good understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and EHCP processes.
Ability to coordinate interventions and monitor pupil progress effectively.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills with staff, families, and external professionals.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Commitment to inclusive education and achieving positive outcomes for all pupils.
Strong safeguarding awareness and professional judgement.
