Job Description
Working closely with pupils and staff, Teaching Assistants help maintain engagement and progress. Support may include assisting with lesson delivery, providing small group or one-to-one input, and helping to maintain effective classroom routines. Flexibility, initiative, and clear communication are key when supporting pupils of varying abilities.
Provides classroom-based support during lessons.
Delivers small group or individual interventions.
Supports classroom organisation and resources.
Encourages positive behaviour and engagement.
Desired Experience + Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this role will need at least 2 years of experience as a HLTA. You will need a strong academic background with relevant teaching and education qualifications, such as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification. You must be able to support the classroom teacher and all of the pupils effectively. A Clean DBS check will also be a requirement.

This OFSTED rated 'GOOD' school is a long standing establishment that was founded within the 19th century, with the present site being open since 1957. Everyday the school welcomes 210 children through its doors, who are aged between 4 and 11 years.
