Job Description
You’ll support pupils with behavioural or SEMH needs across lessons, small groups, and transitions. You’ll model positive routines, use supportive de-escalation, and help pupils re-engage with learning. Working closely with the class teacher and pastoral team, you’ll deliver short interventions and contribute to behaviour plans designed to promote calm, confidence, and consistency.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide 1:1 and small-group behaviour support.
Use restorative approaches and calm de-escalation.
Track behaviour patterns and share key updates with staff.
Reinforce routines and support positive engagement.
Desired Experience + Qualifications
Experience with SEMH, behaviour support, or pastoral work.
Confident using clear routines and restorative strategies.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Committed to safeguarding and reflective practice.
