Job Description
You’ll support children in an Early Years classroom through structured play, communication activities, and early literacy and numeracy tasks. You’ll assist with small-group learning, reinforce routines, and help create a calm, engaging environment. Working alongside the class teacher, you’ll contribute to a setting where children feel safe, supported, and ready to explore learning.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Support play-based learning and early development activities.
Assist with phonics, language, and early numeracy sessions.
Reinforce routines and positive social behaviour.
Prepare learning materials and support classroom organisation.
Desired Experience + Qualifications
Experience working with Early Years or nursery-aged children.
Warm, patient communication style.
Confidence supporting structured play and early learning.
Strong safeguarding awareness and teamwork approach.
