Job Description
A primary school in Oxfordshire (Didcot area) is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils within the classroom. This role is ideal for someone with experience providing 1:1 support and working with children who may require additional support with SEND or challenging behaviours.
Key Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 support for pupils who require additional assistance
Support learning activities within the classroom
Assist with behaviour management and pupil engagement
Work closely with teachers and SEND staff to support pupil progress
Encourage independence and confidence in learning
Desired Experience + Qualifications
Previous 1:1 support experience
Experience working within a primary school setting
Knowledge of SEND needs and challenging behaviours
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Patient, proactive, and supportive approach
DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
