Job Description
You'll lead the school's safeguarding provision, ensuring policies, procedures, and statutory responsibilities are implemented effectively. Working alongside senior leaders, pastoral teams, families, and external agencies, you'll coordinate safeguarding practice, manage referrals, and promote a culture where pupil welfare is everyone's responsibility.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead safeguarding policy, procedures, and compliance.
Manage safeguarding concerns, referrals, and accurate record keeping.
Deliver safeguarding guidance and support to colleagues.
Liaise with external agencies to coordinate pupil support.
Desired Experience + Qualifications
Experience leading safeguarding within an education setting.
Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation and statutory guidance.
Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
Ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.
