Job Description
A vibrant Birmingham primary school is seeking a caring and adaptable Teaching Assistant to support pupils across Key Stages 1 and 2. You will assist with learning in class, provide 1:1 and small group interventions, and contribute to a positive and well-structured environment that supports pupil progress and wellbeing.
Assist with classroom activities and differentiated instruction
Provide targeted support to pupils with SEND or SEMH needs
Foster an inclusive and respectful classroom culture
Collaborate with teachers and SENCO to track and support progress
Desired Experience + Qualifications
Experience in a school setting (KS1 or KS2 preferred)
Confidence supporting pupils with varying needs
A calm, reliable, and proactive approach
DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
