Job Description
A specialist SEND primary provision in Coventry is seeking a passionate SEND Teacher to deliver engaging lessons and support pupils with a range of additional needs. The role includes classroom teaching and PPA responsibilities, working alongside experienced support staff to ensure pupils receive personalised learning and strong pastoral care.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging lessons tailored to pupils with SEND
Plan differentiated learning to meet EHCP targets
Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and SENCO
Contribute to PPA cover and wider school activities
Desired Experience + Qualifications
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred
Experience teaching pupils with SEND
Strong classroom management and adaptability
Ability to create inclusive and engaging learning environments
DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
