Job Description

A specialist school in Worcestershire is seeking a committed and adaptable QTS Teacher to join their team. This role is ideal for an educator who is passionate about inclusive learning and can create engaging, personalised lessons that enable pupils with additional needs to reach their full potential.

Working within a supportive SEND environment, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day while helping pupils develop academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs
Create a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
Support pupils with a range of additional learning needs
Monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies to maximise achievement
Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, therapists, and wider support teams
Promote positive behaviour, wellbeing, and emotional development
Contribute to personalised learning plans and pupil reviews
Maintain high standards of safeguarding and pupil support

Desired Experience + Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Previous teaching experience

  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

  • Ability to differentiate learning effectively

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

  • Passion for supporting pupil development and achievement

  • DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
