Job Description

You'll support pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs through structured classroom support, 1:1 mentoring, and small-group interventions. Working alongside teachers and pastoral colleagues, you'll help pupils develop positive relationships, regulate emotions, and engage successfully with learning.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEMH needs.
Promote emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies.
Reinforce classroom routines and support pupil engagement.
Work closely with teaching, pastoral, and safeguarding teams.

Desired Experience + Qualifications

  • Experience supporting pupils with SEMH, SEND, or behavioural needs.

  • Calm, resilient, and empathetic approach.

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Strong safeguarding awareness and professional judgement.
