Job Description
A primary school in Worcestershire is seeking an enthusiastic Education Support Assistant to help deliver targeted learning and wellbeing programmes designed to support pupil development. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with children, promoting engagement, and helping pupils overcome barriers to learning.
You'll play an important role in supporting a range of interventions, enrichment activities, and personal development programmes that help pupils build confidence both inside and outside the classroom.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver structured intervention and support programmes
Work with individuals and small groups of pupils
Support learning, wellbeing, and personal development initiatives
Encourage pupil engagement, confidence, and participation
Assist teachers in creating positive learning environments
Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
Support wider school improvement and enrichment activities
Desired Experience + Qualifications
Previous experience working with children or young people
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Positive, proactive, and adaptable approach
Ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
Commitment to supporting pupil wellbeing and achievement
Organised and able to manage multiple priorities
DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
