Job Description
A SEND school in Worcestershire is seeking a SEND Support Assistant to work with pupils who need adapted learning, consistent routines, and emotional reassurance. You’ll deliver 1:1 and group support, help pupils manage transitions, and use visuals or scaffolded tasks to aid understanding. Some children need confidence-building; others need structured guidance. Working closely with teachers, you’ll help create a safe, predictable environment that supports genuine progress.
Provide 1:1 and small-group SEND support.
Assist with communication, routines, and regulation.
Support learning through modelling and visuals.
Work collaboratively with the teaching team.

Experience supporting SEND pupils.
Patient, warm communication.
Confidence using structured strategies.
Strong safeguarding understanding.
