Job Description
Working closely with pupils and staff, Teaching Assistants help maintain engagement and progress. Support may include assisting with lesson delivery, providing small group or one-to-one input, and helping to maintain effective classroom routines. Flexibility, initiative, and clear communication are key when supporting pupils of varying abilities.
Provides classroom-based support during lessons.
Delivers small group or individual interventions.
Supports classroom organisation and resources.
Encourages positive behaviour and engagement.
Desired Experience + Qualifications
Experience supporting primary-aged pupils, particularly with intervention delivery.
Confident communicator with empathy, energy and strong relationship-building skills.
Understanding of Pupil Premium needs and how socioeconomic factors can affect learning.
Flexible, reliable and able to work collaboratively across year groups.
