How do you respectfully but firmly initiate conversations with parents about getting an evaluation for learning differences? I have a student showing signs of dyslexia but dad is in denial. Suggestions?

It's best to approach it as a collaboration, not accusation. Don't use clinical labels, phrase it as "I've noticed some patterns that make me think extra support could help him thrive." Reassure you want to work WITH them.
