Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and patient SEND teaching assistant to provide one-to-one support for a child with additional needs in a primary school setting. This role is perfect for someone passionate about inclusive education, ensuring that children with SEND receive the support they need to engage with learning, build confidence, and reach their potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individualised support to a child with additional needs
Assist with classroom activities, helping to adapt learning materials and strategies
Work closely with the class teacher and SEND team to implement personalised learning plans
Foster a positive, structured learning environment that encourages both academic and social development
Offer emotional and behavioural support, helping the child build independence and self-confidence

Previous SEND experience in a school setting
