Job Description

As a Confidence Building Classroom Partner you will support Key Stage 2 pupils who need help staying motivated organised and emotionally steady throughout the school day. Your role is split between academic guidance and nurturing relational support ensuring pupils have the encouragement structure and reassurance they need to participate confidently in lessons.

You will work closely with the class teacher to adapt activities offer one to one clarification lead small intervention groups and keep pupils on track during independent tasks. You may work with children who struggle with low confidence mild anxiety attention difficulties or gaps in learning due to inconsistent school attendance. Your warm communication style and steady presence will help pupils feel seen supported and prepared to take risks in their learning.

This role is suited to someone who enjoys celebrating small wins building relationships and helping pupils discover new strengths. The school values positivity clear routines and staff who genuinely enjoy helping children grow in both confidence and capability.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide one to one and small group academic support
Help pupils build confidence using structured praise and guided steps
Support emotional regulation during transitions and busy times
Lead reading handwriting and core subject catch up activities
Communicate observations to the teacher to support next steps
