Job Description
We’re looking for a nurturing and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a caring Worcestershire primary school. In this role, you’ll support children as they develop foundational communication, literacy, numeracy, and social skills through playful, creative learning.
You’ll collaborate closely with the class teacher to deliver stimulating activities, create appealing learning spaces, and support children—individually and in groups—who may need extra encouragement. From forest learning to storytelling and role-play, each day brings variety, joy, and the opportunity to watch children thrive in independence and creativity.
Key Responsibilities
Support learning and play in EYFS settings
Plan and guide small-group activities that foster engagement
Encourage positive routines and behaviour in toddlers
Assist in setting up nurturing and creative classroom environments
Desired Experience

Experience working in EYFS (desirable but not essential)
A warm, patient, and nurturing approach with young learners
Strong communication skills and joyful engagement
