Job Description
We are looking for a Finance & Marketing Assistant who is organised, proactive and capable of supporting both the financial and promotional functions of our school. This dual‑role requires someone versatile: comfortable with number‑crunching and administration, as well as creative, digital and communication tasks to help raise the school’s profile and engagement with parents, pupils, and the community.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day financial administration: processing invoices, purchase orders, reconciling expenses, tracking budgets and maintaining accurate records.
Support marketing and communications: develop and schedule social‑media content, update school communications, assist with promotional materials and support admissions outreach.
Help coordinate events, community engagement activities, and school promotions.
Maintain administrative systems relevant to finance and marketing functions, ensuring compliance and data accuracy.
Work collaboratively with leadership, teaching and administrative staff to support strategic school operations and communications.
Desired Experience
+ Qualifications
Experience or strong interest in finance/administration (in school, charity, or similar sectors)
Competent numeracy and strong attention to detail — comfortable handling invoices, budgets and basic accounting tasks
Good digital and communication skills; confident with social media, digital content creation or marketing‑related tasks
Organised, reliable, able to prioritise tasks and work under own initiative
Friendly and professional with strong interpersonal skills; able to work as part of a team and manage relationships with parents, colleagues and external partners
