Job Description

What You’ll Do
- Lead whole-class lessons across all year groups, delivering planned content in line with the curriculum.
- Plan and deliver PE lessons across Reception to Year 6, adapting activities to ensure every child, including those with autism or physical needs, can participate.
- Use your coaching skills to model positive behaviour and teamwork.
- Work closely with the teaching team to adapt lessons where needed.
- Support learning outcomes and ensure pupils stay on track in the absence of the class teacher.
- Build warm, respectful relationships with pupils and staff across the school community.

+ Qualifications
You’re an experienced educator with a passion for both teaching and sport. You take the lead in class, enjoy working across different age groups, and understand the value of movement, teamwork, and resilience for children’s growth. We’d especially like to hear from you if you:
- Have an HLTA qualification (or TA Level 3+) with solid UK classroom experience.
- Are confident leading whole classes and differentiating for a range of SEND.
- Have a background in sport, coaching, or physical education.
- Can set up creative PE activities with limited equipment and plenty of imagination.
- Are composed, organised, and ready to step in wherever needed from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.
- Understand how to adapt your teaching for different needs and abilities.
- Are reliable, able to build rapport quickly, and an excellent communicator.
