Job Description
This role offers a meaningful opportunity to support children across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 within a nurturing and high-performing Oxfordshire primary school. As a Learning Support Partner you will work closely with teachers to provide tailored academic support, model calm communication and help pupils engage confidently with their learning. This position is ideal for someone who values structure, teamwork and the chance to make a tangible difference in the classroom.
Day to day, you will guide pupils through key tasks, reinforce key learning strategies and help them break down challenging concepts into achievable steps. You will also support group activities, monitor progress and provide feedback that helps teachers refine their approach. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide tailored academic support to individuals and small groups
Support teacher-led instruction and reinforce key learning strategies
Help pupils manage routines, transitions and expectations
Use scaffolding techniques to guide pupils through challenging tasks
Collaborate with teaching staff to monitor progress and adapt support
