Job Description

This role is ideal for someone who wants to support pupils in a hands-on, practical way without being restricted to a single year group. As a Level 2 Classroom Support Assistant, you’ll work alongside experienced teachers to deliver high-quality learning support in small groups and one-to-one situations. You'll also support with phonics, numeracy catch-up, and group interventions, depending on pupil needs. This is a role where your contribution is noticed daily, and there's genuine scope to grow into HLTA, pastoral, or SEND pathways.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide targeted support in class and during small group interventions
Assist with phonics, literacy, numeracy and topic-based activities
Help pupils develop independence, confidence and communication skills
Support the teacher with classroom routines, resources and supervision
Contribute ideas to improve engagement and inclusion

Experience working with children in a school or childcare setting
A positive, proactive attitude and strong communication skills
Ability to support learning across different key stages
Level 2 TA qualification or willingness to work towards one
Commitment to safeguarding and professional conduct

How much does it cost and how much will I be paid?

Our services to you are completely free.

Costs will only incur if you require a new DBS or OSPC, but don't worry - we can still put you forward for interviews while the applications in process, so you won't miss out on all the exciting opportunities!
