Job Description

We’re looking for a dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Coventry. You’ll play a key part in supporting children’s learning across the classroom, working closely with teachers to deliver engaging lessons, provide 1:1 and small-group support, and help pupils build essential skills in literacy, numeracy, and communication. This is a role where every day feels meaningful — from helping a pupil grasp a new concept to encouraging positive friendships and routines. The ideal candidate will be proactive, caring, and confident working with children of mixed abilities, always ready to adapt and make learning engaging.

Job Responsibilities:
Support teachers in planning and delivering classroom activities
Provide targeted 1:1 and small-group interventions
Encourage social and emotional development across the class
Assist with assessments, displays, and pupil records

Desired Experience
+ Qualifications

Level 2 TA qualification or equivalent experience
Strong communication and organisational skills
Passion for supporting inclusive and creative learning
Confidence managing small groups and adapting to pupil needs
