Job Description

As a Primary Learning Partner you will support pupils across Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 helping them build confidence with reading writing and number skills while strengthening their engagement in class. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys guiding pupils through small step learning creating calm predictable routines and offering encouragement that helps children take risks in their learning.

You will work alongside the class teacher to deliver targeted interventions small group activities and one to one support where needed. Your presence will help pupils stay focused feel secure during transitions and develop the independence required for successful classroom learning. You may help with phonics reading journals maths tasks and scaffolded writing activities while also contributing to a positive classroom atmosphere.

This is a thoughtful and rewarding position for someone who wants to develop their practice in a school that values consistency high expectations and relational support for every child.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Support early literacy phonics tasks and small group numeracy work
Provide one to one encouragement and focused assistance during lessons
Help pupils settle into routines transitions and independent tasks
Deliver structured interventions under teacher guidance
Offer clear feedback to teaching staff to support planning and progression
