Job Description
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join a Birmingham North primary school, supporting KS1 pupils in literacy, phonics, and numeracy. You’ll work with children individually and in small groups, encouraging positive learning habits and building resilience.
You’ll also assist with classroom organisation, resources, and group activities, ensuring lessons run smoothly and pupils are fully engaged. This is a role for someone who enjoys working with children and is passionate about supporting their progress and wellbeing.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support pupils with phonics, reading, and maths.
Provide one-to-one and group interventions.
Assist with classroom activities and resources.
Promote positive behaviour and independence.
