Job Description
We’re looking for a Pupil Premium Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in South Birmingham that is dedicated to helping every child reach their full potential. Your role will focus on supporting pupils who need a little extra help to overcome barriers to learning — whether academic, social, or emotional. You’ll work in small groups and 1:1 settings to reinforce key skills in literacy, numeracy, and confidence-building. Job Responsibilities:
Deliver small-group and 1:1 interventions for Pupil Premium students
Track progress and feedback outcomes to teachers and SENCOs
Support children’s social and emotional wellbeing during class and playtimes
Reinforce positive attitudes to learning and celebrate achievements

Experience working with children, ideally in a primary school setting
Good literacy and numeracy skills, with the ability to support targeted learning
